Locations featured include: Albufeira in the Algarve region of Portugal [pages 2489-2512], and Moncarapacho, also in the Algarve [2513-41] and [2560], and Cambridge [2542-59]. As well as description of the tree species found in the Algrave, there is description of wildflowers of the area, inlcuding orchids and rhododendrons. The first International Conference of the Mediterranean Gardens Association of Portugal (MGAP) was held at the end of March 2012 and attended by Rackham.
