At foot a note to Sharpe from Thomas Gilby: 'Above is Mr Betty bill for his extraordinary trouble and attendance as delivered to me by his brother; pray send me as soon as possible a copy of your account, that is a particular account of what money you have paid since the first commencement of the cause, because it is impossible to make out Mr Bettys bill without charging you with what perhaps you have already paid.
