The Copes maintain that John Syclyng and William Brygges made use of a forged will, and petition for them to be summoned by privy seal to appear before the King and Council.
Endorsed: 'the Fyrst possession of the coll: after the death of Mr Kent [1485] by dysspossing Robert Cope'.
