Endorsed: The within-mencioned Judgment for Five Thousand pounds by Indenture Tripartite beareing date the five and Twentieth day of February Anno Domini 1687 made or mencioned to be made betweene Sir Thomas Millington Knight, Robert Elton Gent, Samuell Trotman Esq, and the within named Sir Henry Pickering of the first part John Spencer Doctor of Divinity of the second part and Samuell Gatward of the third part was assigned to the said Samuell Gatward that satisfaction may be entered upon the Record thereof in order whereunto the said Samuell Gatward hath by his warrant bearing even date herewith desired and impowered William Tempest within named to acknowledge satisfaction upon the Record of the said Judgment and hath covenanted to save the said William Tempest harmless for doeing thereof In witness whereof the said Samuell Gatward hath hereunto set his hand the six and Twentieth day of May Anno Domini 1688'.
