Scope and Contents
The land lies between land of Robert Andrew and fallow, or newly broken [fristam] land of John Pope and abuts on a meadow of Richard Charman and on land of the said Edmund; the piece of meadow lies between a messuage of Richard Tailefer and a meadow of Robert de Geddinges. Both pieces of land were held of Henry by John Mareschal, chaplain, for one tenure.
Witnesses: Richard Charman; John la Veele; William Valence; John de la Ponde; Edmund Wallare.
Endorsed with memorandum that Edmund de la Ponde holds for himself and his heirs, from Henry Chamberleyn and his heirs 2 acres of land in the field called la Donur [?] between land of the said Edmund on either side abutting, E, on a headland of the said Edmund lying below his garden and, W, on the meadow called le Holmemad, with payment of 6d per annum as service.
