Exchange of lands with Walter le Chaumberleyn., 1311
Scope and Contents
Nicholas grants a dike (fovea) 16 roods long and conveniently wide lying between land of the said Walter called Le Limpistel and a pasture of the said Nicholas called Le Layeserlond and extends at the S. head to the copse (cippum) once called Le Ruwemare and at the N. head to the road called Le Manningwey; Walter has granted a yard (area) between the garden of the said Nicholas and the croft of the said Walter called Le Limpistel which extends (S) to land once of Rogert Kakerum and (N) to the spring called Wlateriswelle.
