Contract with Walter Camerarius de Pelham Arsa for the marriage of Henry, eldest son of Walter, and Agatha, eldest daughter of Alexander., 1240-10-09
Scope and Contents
The sponsalia are to be in 1242, the marriage six years later. On the day of the sponsalia Alexander is to give Henry all his lands in Pelham Arsa which he holds of the fee of Agatha de Wancy; Walter will grant Henry the right to endow Agatha with a third of his, Walter's, lands there. Should Henry die or default his place is to be supplied by Walter's other son, Theobald.
