The messuage was formerly held by Robert de Hinton from Bartholomew Gogging. The 20 acres are in several parcels and were also formerly of Bartholomew Gogging.

Dorse identifies Joan as wife of John of Cambridge, and the messuage as being called 'Hynton'.
