Scope and Contents
Appelton Croft measures 20 perches and 11 feet east to west at the north side and 16 (?) perches and 12 feet at the south, and is 13 perches and 12 feet wide at the west end and 14 perches 11 feet at the east end and 15 perches and two and a half feet wide in the middle.. One piece of meadow, next to the said arable land, is 10 perches 6 feet long from east to west, 12 perches and 9 feet wide at the west head, and 11 perches 7 feet wide at the east head. And another piece of meadow adjoinging is 26 perches long from east to west, 17 perches 3 feet wide at the west head, and 23 perches at the east. The other piece of meadow, also adjacent, is 8 perches 3 feet long from east to west, 18 perches wide at the west head and 20 perches 13 feet wide at the east head.
