Grant to Thomas de Abington, perpetual vicar of St Botolph of a chaplaincy in St Botolph for a chantry founded, before his profession as a Franciscan, by Brother Thomas, 1330-11-07
Scope and Contents
With conditions of payment of an annuity for twenty years from Palm Sunday (3 Edward III) 1329, for its maintenance and an account of previous attempts to found the same by John Breton, nephew of Brother Thomas, out of family inheritance, and by Joan de Creek, sister of Thomas. The annuity and the duties of the chaplain are taken over by the Vicar from the date of this grant.
