Scope and Contents
1. Sale by Philip to Laurence de Bakenhil, clerk, of Reginald son of Roljer, Simon son of Roljer, John Carpentarius, William le Prest, Richard Bassett with their wives and families, houses, crofts, lands, cattle in the meadows of Stanton. Payment of 4d to be made to the church of All Saints there for prayers for Philip and his forebears. Witnesses: Sir Henry de Colville; Werric de Cadam; Stephen le Bloy; Herbert rector of the church of St Michael at Stanton; Walter Corde; John son of Simon; William de Bradley; William Pigade (?). No date.
2. Grant by Philip to the church of All Saints at Stanton of the homage of Laurence de Bakenhil and the service due to him (Philip) from Reginald son of Roljer; Simon son Roljer, etc. (as above). The transaction to be entered on the rolls. Witnesses as above.
3. Inspeximus by H[ugh of Northwold], bishop of Ely, 15 June 1238
