The tenement lies between tenements of the parish of Little St Mary's and of Andrew Perne, DD, sometime of one Thomas Strong (S) and the tenement of the late chantry of Our Blessed Lady of the same church now in the tenure of William Bradley beerbrewer (N) and abuts (W) on the highway and (E) on the ground of the said Andrew Perne, sometime of Thomas Strong, and on Swinescroft. Note on dorse: Memorandum it is agreed on the behalfe of both the partyes within named that whereas ther seameth aswell by thabbuttinge of the within named tenement on the east ende, viz by this clause vpon Swynescrofte which agreeth with the auncient records of the within named Colledge concerninge the same as by the relation of credible person a parcell of grownde leading from the yard of the said tenement into Swynescrofte commonly called St Thomas Lees to be disclaymed and vniustly deteyned from the said Colledge by the which named William Bradley yf that hereafter within the terme of yeres of this Indenture the said William his heirs executors administrators & assigns can sufficiently prove such detention to be lawfull by any title or interest in the same parcell of grownd or otherwise compound & agree with the within named Master and Fellows or their successors for the same that then the within named Robert shall hold himselfe contented & not in any poynt reced from such orders anything conteyned in this Indenture to the contrary notwithstandinge theadvise & counsell of the Master and Fellows of the said Colledge for the tyme beinge.
