Surrender of three messuages next to St Botolph's church in trust for CCCC., 1733-03-22
Scope and Contents
The surrender takes the form of a quadripartite indenture between (1) the Whiteheads, (2) the Rev. Charles Skottowe, M.A., Fellow of CCCC, (3) Thomas Porter, glover, Ralph Boys, yeoman, Richard Nevell, blacksmith, Elizabeth Head, widow, John Palmer, cordwainer, and Samual Barrance, yeoman, tenants, and (4) the Master and Fellows of CCCC, and includes reference to the history of Brewer's bequest of the income of the messuages to his wife, and the negotiations of his executors, Samuel Westley amd Robert Grumbold.
