The messuage, formerly of Thomas Jakenet senior, deceased, was granted to Callard and Rouse by a writ of distraint in the King's Bench on 21 November 1524 (16 Henry VIII). Appointment of William Abington to deliver seisin.
On dorse, notartial attestation by John Thirlby, scribe, of delivery of seisin by William Abington, in the presence of Henry Hazel, one of the town treasurers, Thomas Whitehead, gent., Robert Ventris, surgeon, William Pratt and John Thirlby.
