The land lies in Fenditton field in a strip of ploughland (cultura) called Smalthorne between land formerly of William Cheyne (E) and land of John Canfield, chaplain, (W), and abuts (S) on land of William Mochet, and was received by John by gift and feoffment of Richard Sothman.
