of one messuage in St Benedict’s parish between tenements of the college on either side and abutting on the highway on the west, and on the college tenement and the rectory; and three acres of land in Cambridge fields [marginal note: ‘ardernes acre’] which the college received from the previous rector, Walter Smith, for the college and his successors; and a messuage in St Mary’s next the Market next to ‘le Lilypot’; and one in Newnham, formerly John Mast’s, abutting on the north and west on Mortimers Close and with the east headland abutting on the highway leading to ‘le Small Bridges’, recently in the occupation of the college;
AND ALSO release of 8 and a half acres and a rood of land in Cambridge fields, and another acre and rood of land in Cambridge fields, lately Thomas Jacob’s, given to the college by Simon Green to hold in capital fee John Seyntwary to Simon Fincham.AND appointment by Cosin and Seyntwary of Robert Wissett and Nicholas Simonds as their attornies.
