Letter to Robert Townley Caldwell, bursar, 1906-02-11
Scope and Contents
Pulling expresses regret at the death of Edward Henry Perowne and gives news as to the whereabouts of his siblings, He states that his father was the owner of the engraving of Queen Victoria, the Prince Consort and the royal family left hanging in the Spencer Room [in bedroom by 1906] which he recalls telling Dr Perowne that he would like to give to the college. He now confirms the offer. If, on the other hand, the Perowne family think the engraving was Dr Perowne's it is not worth making a fuss about.
