The petition recites sums already received: £200 from Lord Keeper Bacon; £20 from the Archbishop of Canterbury; £20 from the Mayor and Aldermen of Norwich; £20 from Lady Bacon; £20 from Mr Sergeant Bendelose; £10 from the Dean and Chapter of Canterbury; £10 each from Mr Butts, Esq., Mr Read and Mr Pearson.
On the second folio are listed members, and in some cases officers, of 12 city companies.
