Agreement for John Parker to enjoy profits of property in Landbeach, 1579-08-12
Scope and Contents
Whereas John Parker has assigned to William Norgate, brother of Robert, a lease from the college to John Baker of Burlingham St Andrew, dated [30 Apr.] 4 and 5 Philip and Mary, of a tenement in Landbeach at a rent of £8 9s 4d, which lease Baker assigned to John Parker, Robert Norgate covenants that John Parker shall enjoy all profits for a term of 3 years, paying the above rent to the college and, for the next 6 years, may have the use of 'Mayden Crofts' at a rent of 53s 4d, and one 'wood howe' and pasturage for 60 sheep at a rent of 13s 4d, with two loads of hay and one of straw.
