Scope and Contents
The plate comprises that specified in 26 above. The college also acknowledges receipt from John Parker of 'one Booke of the statutes of the saide College faire written in parchment inclosed in a case of woode, sealed with the Quenes Majesties seale for causes ecclesiastical and subscribed by the hands of Matthew Cantuar, William Burghley, James Duresme, Robert Winton and Anthony Cooke the xxxth and xxxjth of January in Anno Domini 1573 given also unto us by the saide Late Archbishop' [now Parker MS 582] and also 'one booke of the accomptes of the same college ab anno xvo Henrici octavi usque ad Annum secundum Edwardi sexti' [now lost?]; 'Item a copie of Grancester lease, Item a rentall booke of the Landes and Tenementes of the same college written with the hande of the saide Archbishop [see 09/36/116, 118, 119-120], Item a rentall roll of the same college written also by him, Item the accompte of John Brunne bailif of Landbech [09/35/189-90], Item the Copie of Honorius priviledge [viz. the papal bull for the university see University Archives Luard 115; a copy in CCCC MS 106 is probably not the one referred to here], Item the originall resignation of Thomas Aldriche signed with his owne hande, and a pece of a generall accompte of the rentes of the saide College'.
