Scope and Contents

To CCCC 1 great basin with the ewer of silver and whole gilt and the arms of the said Matthew (122 oz.); 1 great standing cup with the cover of silver and double gilt (53 oz.); 1 other great standing cup with a cover of silver and whole gilt commonly called a communion cup with the appurtenances (43¼ oz.); 1 great salt with the cover of silver and whole gilt (40 oz.); 2 drinking pots pounced of silver and whole gilt with one cover (24¼ oz.); 13 spoons whole gilt with knops of Christ and his Apostles for the use of the Master and 12 Fellows (26¼ oz,), To Gonville and Caius: 1 standing cup of silver pounced with the cover of whole gilt (40 oz.) and to Trinity Hall a standing cup with the cover whole gilt and of like fashion (37 oz.).
The Master and Fellows of CCCC are to enter into like bond at the receipt of the said plate to the Master and Fellows of Gonville and Caius and of Trinity Hall 'proportionably for the rest to same as they have already done for their first two standing cups above expressed.'
