Tripartite agreement relating to distribution of annual income of lands at Landbeach farmed by Henry Gotobed., 1572-01-01
Scope and Contents
The Landbeach lands were leased to John Baker on 30 April 1558 for £8 9s 4d. They are now farmed by Henry Gotobed paying an improved rent of £14 8s, from which sum the Master is to have 13s 4d; 20 scholars are to have £13 6s 8d (i.e. 13s 4d each), the clerk of the chapter is to have 2s; the butler and cook 12d; the undercook 8d; and the fellows of Gonville and Caius attending the annual library audit, 3s 4d. The college covenants to continue to payment to the fellows of Gonville and Caius and Trinity Hall and to scholars in residence.
