Scope and Contents
Collins' Gentleman's Diary for 1902 showing one page for each day. Handwritten entries by Rev. Philip Brocklesby Davis from 1st January 1902 to 31 December 1902. Contains detailed daily diary entries that recount Philip's daily activites. Entries included when and what he ate, when and where he went, games and activities he played, the people he met, when and what he read, things he bought, and the weather of the day.
Contains a page titled 'things easily forgotten' which includes details concerning the number of Philip's watch, the number of his bank book, his weight, his adress and the size of his hat, gloves, drawers, shorts, collar, cuffs and shoes.
