The letters are all addresses to 'Horologer' or 'Brother Horologer' and all stamped with an 'idler' stamp showing a sloth hanging from a tree branch. 'Horologer' was Dr George C Williamson, the historian and antiquarian.

Vyvyan Holland came up to Trinity Hall in 1905 but left in 1907. He was the second son of Oscar Wilde and Constance Lloyd.
