Biographical / Historical

The Hesperides Society was founded in 1923 by Neil McLeod Innes (matric. 1922) and lasted until 1976. The aim of the society was for the discussion of literary and artistic subjects. The society heard talks from many notable authors, including T. S. Eliot and J. B. Priestley, who graduated from Trinity Hall in 1921.
