Scope and Contents
The series includes the original letters of George H. Darwin and Lady Darwin that have been compiled during the research for A House by the River. They also contain letters, notes, and drafts by Lady Margaret Keynes as the contents of each file have been retained as it was donated.

Conditions Governing Access
Darwin College Archives is committed to providing access to its collections for the purposes of teaching, research and administrative reference. Material in the envelopes has been maintained in their original groupings and order as it is presumed to be the order implemented by Lady Margaret Keynes. The order of envelopes has been artificially implemented during cataloguing to combine the two donations.
