Biographical / Historical
A vintage pair of gruesome medical instruments. A Tonsil Guillotine by makers Allen and Hanburys of London. Also an Eve’s Tonsillar Snare. This instrument is part of the tonsillectomy set and is used in the step of removing the dissected tonsil from its final attachment to the fossa. The pair are old and show age related wear and are sold for display purposes only.
