Scope and Contents
3 sepia photographs, 4" x 3", mounted on card, showing the damage to Victoria Ward. Note the bust of Queen Victoria on the mantelpiece of the central fireplace. The suited gentleman on the left (of photo 3) is believed to be Dr Haynes. [Fire broke out in the roof above Victoria Ward on Oct. 1st 1902. The roof of the ward was destroyed and the walls, floors and contents damaged. No one was injured and the property was insured with the Sun Fire Office.]
