Biographical / Historical
The Minutes of 13 Feb 1865 has a copy of a letter from executors of Bishop of Ely One of the wards on the Old site was named Turton in October 1865. Minutes 2 Sep 1885 Master of Jesus College has portrait in oils of the late Bishop Turton which he wishes to donate to Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Offer accepted as the Bishop had been a benefactor to the Hospital.
