Biographical / Historical
Professor S W (Toby) Jackman, retired professor of history, is a Fellow Commoner of St Edmund's. Until 2008, he spent half the year at St Edmund's and half in British Columbia (where he was formerly Librarian of the University of British Columbia). St Edmund's College awards the Toby Jackman Prize 'for the most outstanding PhD in any subject except Economics'.
