Scope and Contents

From the Sub-Fonds:

These files were kept as dayfiles and contain material relating to both St Edmund's College and Brian Heap's other interests and activities, including research, learned bodies, conferences etc. Where there are overlaps in the dates, this would appear to have arisen as a result of files being kept concurrently at different locations. There is much relating to University and College business: however, many College committee papers have been weeded out as these are held in the main College archive; papers of various intercollegiate committees have been weeded out as they are generally held by the University Library; and papers of the Institute of Continuing Education at Madingley have also been weeded out as they will be held by the Institute. As well as specific College business matters, there are many letters to BH from individual fellows and students. The individual content of each file has not been listed in full, though some specific College events and items of personal note are mentioned in the catalogue entries for individual files below.
