St Edmund's House log books: Volume 1, 1911 - 1937
Scope and Contents
Begins with a short history of events up to Easter 1911 before becoming effectively a diary of College events, letters, meetings, arrivals and departures of students etc, with frequent, though not daily, entries. Mostly written in the same hand throughout. Contains, loose, a letter to the Master, 20 May 1931, from John McNulty, addressed from Manchester, mentioning, inter alia, that Whitfield 'kept no log - a rather remarkable omission for so careful a man'.
