Correspondence (chiefly in-letters to CG) re the raising of funds for a portrait of Mgr Edmond Nolan by Gilbert Pownall, including correspondence with GP, list of contributors and contributions (105 guineas was raised and paid for the portrait); also correspondence re the presentation of the portrait by Cardinal Bourne, Archbishop of Westminster, at the artist's studio on 5 December 1921; also correspondence re the arrival of the portrait at St Edmund's in 1922, and correspondence re copies of the portrait 1924.
