The Norfolk Commemoration is the major social occasion of St Edmund's College's, held annually to celebrate its foundation and its association with the Dukes of Norfolk. The files catalogued here were produced successively by the offices of Brian Heap (12th Master) and Paul Luzio (13th Master). They generally include the following: sample invitation letter; some personal invitations; guest lists; blues lists and prizewinners lists (ie the names of students who are automatically sent an invitation); student ballot; correspondence concerning those suggested for the guest list; seating plans; invitation card; timetable; menu and related correspondence and papers; pen portraits of guests; notes of planning meetings; and letters of thanks.
