Biographical / Historical
The College Archives comprise the records of how the college functions, including statutes, minutes, accounts and student records.
The majority of this class was arranged and numbered by the College Archivist Edward Carson in 1979-1985, and where possible the numbers have been kept with the prefix CA. It was decided to add fonds for Governance, Clubs and Societies, and Histories to enable modern researchers to better find records of relevance. Catalogue entries from the original catalogue are gradually being expanded, however, many volumes have been noted as missing by either Carson or the subsequent archivist Genny Silvanus, the present Archivist being Dr Lucy Hughes.
