Scope and Contents
Fourteen bundles of notes (some in typescript, some printed as if from off-prints), labelled I-XIV, though V is missing and the last is unlabelled. The subject is a loose one: English and German history in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, covering the Industrial Revolution in both countries, as well as internal German politics. (Possibly drafts of his published book on 'The Industrial Revolution in Europe', published in several editions during the 1960s).
