Most dinners presumably held in the Master's Lodge at Downing. Includes lists of invited and attending guests with printed and handwritten menus (Presumably in the hand of Lady Whitby). Includes summary of (? numbers hosted at) various functions during two years as Vice-Chancellor (1951-2: dinner parties - 400, lunch parties - 283, sherry parties - 256, garden parties - 1090; 1952-3: 134 beds, 126 breakfasts, 369 lunch, 500 teas, 1116 drinks, 380 dinner, 720 coffee, 1200 garden parties).
