Scope and Contents
In a wooden slide box. Downing images include: the Master's Lodge under repair, 1961, and Lodge garden; Snow and flood, December 1961; skating in Cambridge in early 1963 on the Cam and (Guthrie) on the Quadrangle in College, in front of the North Range; Master's Lodge and garden, 1970-1; Boat Club (St Ives and 'Colleges' Regatta' and Downing oars wedged in the pediment of the Hall, July 1960). Non-Downing images include general Cambridge and district views, 'trains, ships and planes', Scotland (Oban, 1958), Alfriston (1958), Brighton and Flatford Mill.
