Biographical / Historical
Robert Monsey Rolfe (later Lord Cranworth) was an undergraduate at Trinity College, Cambridge. He became seventeenth wrangler in 1812 and gained one of the members' prizes for senior bachelors in 1814. He graduated B.A. in 1812, M.A. in 1815, and was elected a fellow of Downing College. Rolfe was admitted to Lincoln's Inn on 29 Jan. 1812, and was called to the bar on 21 May 1816.
