Biography

Roy Drummond Whitehorn (1891-1976), Presbyterian minister, attended Trinity College, Cambridge, 1912-14, and Westminster College, 1914-15 and 1919-21. He became a minister in 1923, serving at Selangor (Malaya), York, and Oxford. In 1938 he became Professor of Church History at Westminster College, Cambridge, and was Principal of the College, 1954-63. He was Moderator of the Free Church Federal Council, 1943-44, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of England, 1950, and a member of the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches, 1948-54. He edited the Cambridge Review, 1913-14, and the Journal of the Presbyterian Historical Society, 1940-47.
