Biography

Frank Samuel Herbert Kendon (1893-1959), publisher, novelist, Quaker, pacifist, and poet, was Assistant Secretary of the Cambridge University Press, 1935-56, and a Fellow of St. John's College, Cambridge, 1948-59. His autobiography The small years was published in 1930; his novel Martin Makesure appeared in 1950.
