Biography

Owen B. Wallis (1890-1954), of the 1st Battalion, Herefordshire Regiment served as an infantry officer on the Western Front, during the Great War. In 1919, he was appointed Staff Captain, No. 1 Sub-district, Ireland, on the Army's legal staff in Ireland, and was demobilised in 1920. In civilian life he was a solicitor.
