Written from Chiswick. Rousseau mentions proofs he is returning to Guy, possibly of pages of the Dictionnaire de Musique (1767); asks Guy to assist the bearer of the letter, who is the son of Mr Pulleyn ['Pullein'], Rousseau's host in Chiswick, and who is planning to reside in Paris for a few months; asks for books and other items to be sent; and outlines his coming itinerary.
