Biography

Sir Francis Sacheverell Darwin (1786-1859) was born on 17 June 1786, and educated at Emmanuel College, Cambridge. He resided at Breadsall Priory, Derbyshire, and was a Justice of the Peace and Deputy Lieutenant. Darwin died on 6 November 1859, and was buried at Breadsall.
