Biography

John Roger Fox was born at Honiton Clyst, near Exeter, on 26 November 1896, and educated at Dursley, Lancing College and New College, Oxford. In 1929 he entered the Agaunensian Monastery of Canons Regular of St Maurice in the Rhone Valley, Switzerland. As a monk, Fox paid extended visits to Australia, India and Singapore.

The autobiography of J.R. Fox, 120 pages. At the front are three letters from Mr P.D. Wilmot of Himmelried (S.O.), Switzerland, to the Revd John Breay, Cambridge, June-September 1981, to whom he presented the autobiography. There is also a photograph of J.R. Fox, and another of P.D. Wilmot, both 1982.
