Biography

John Jacob Wille studied engineering at Cornell University (B.S., 1926) and New York University. He worked for the New York Port Authority, then in the Corps of Engineers, U.S. Army. As an undergraduate, Wille took an elective course in which he studied the history of the English language, fuelling an interest that was to culminate in the writing of his play. After retiring to the American southwest, he pursued an interest in English history.
