John Mitford (1781-1859), Vicar of Bemhall (1810), Rector of Weston St. Mary (1815) and Stratford St. Andrew (1824), Suffolk (united into one benefice in 1824); editor of the Gentleman's Magazine, 1824-50, and of the works of Thomas Gray, John Milton and other poets.
