Biography

Edgar Gaston Furtado Abraham (1880-1955) was educated at St Paul's School and Corpus Christi College, Oxford. He served in the Indian Civil Service, joining the Punjab Commission in 1904. He was made Assistant Secretary to the War Cabinet in January 1918, and served on the Supreme War Council at Versailles in May 1918. He attended the Supreme Council Peace Conference in 1919-1920. Abraham died on 17 Feb. 1955.
