Biography

Elizabeth (Bridges) Daryush, 1887-1977, poet, was the daughter of Robert Seymour Bridges and Mary Monica Bridges, née Waterhouse. She married Ali Akbar Daryush in 1923. Her 'Collected Poems', with an introduction by Donald Davie, was published in Manchester by Carcanet New Press in 1976.
