Theophilus Barton Rowe (1833-1905), Vice-Principal Grosvenor College, Bath 1861, Assistant Master Uppingham School 1861-75, Headmaster Tonbridge School 1875-90. He married (1) Eliza Nicholls, daughter of J.V. Buckle, Sandgate, Australia in 1861 (d.1887) and (2) Frances Ellen Blanche Hanbury 1888
